Getting started with TimeSheet Reporter is actually quite simple. All you should do is follow the instructions in the guides on http://www.TimeSheetReporter.com/support.
First you should familiarize yourself with the terms used, by going over the glossary (http://www.timesheetreporter.com/support/glossary/).
- Install TSR Outlook User Agent
Install the TSR Outlook User Agent on the computers with Outlook from where you wish to use the TSR client. For instructions on installing the agent, see http://www.timesheetreporter.com/support/tsr-outlook-user-agent-installation/.
Please make sure that you read the pre-requisites described in the same document.
- Using Expenses
To give users access to use the Expenses function in TSR, please follow this guide – Click here…
This function makes it possible to add expenses to your time entries, as well as submit and approve these, create reports, etc. You can read more about this function by using the main menu on this site.
Most TSR trials come with access to this function. If you are an existing client and would like access to this, please contact us.
- TSR Server data setup
For the Hosted version, we may include some sample data for you to get started faster. If so, you can skip this step, and start using TSR now. However, you should add some more data yourself to really benefit from TSR and see how it works.
Setup data on the TSR Server, such as users, user groups, organizations, projects, etc., by following this guide: http://www.timesheetreporter.com/support/getting-some-data-to-work-with-in-tsr/.
- That’s it!
You are now ready to use TSR. Enjoy.
