Preventing TimeSheet Reporter Startup in a multi user environment

Intended audience: System administrators responsible for installing and maintaining TSR Outlook User Agent in a multi user environment such as Microsoft Remote Desktop Services (formely known as Terminal Services), Citrix XenApp etc.

If you for some reason or another will prevent the Outlook User Agent for starting up for some users, you should add an entry in the registry.

The key will be located in HKEY_Current_User\Software\TimeSheet Reporter. The name of the key is START_TSR_OUA. If the key is not present or has a value of 1, OUA will start normally. If the key has a value of 0, the TSR OUA will not be started.

Example:

Key is present and the value is 1:
Registry1

Result: OUA starts normally for the current user.

Key is present and the value is 0:
Registry2

Result: OUA does not start for the current user.

Key is not present:
Registry3

Result: OUA starts normally for the current user.

The key can be implemented via GPO or other similar tools.

Please note that this only applies for TSR OUA version 5.9.8 and above.
